The 45 mm anti-tank gun model 1937 (factory designation 53-K) was used by Soviet forces, mainly in the first stages of World War II. In 1941 it was the basic anti-tank gun of the USSR. A total of 37.354 units were according to Wikipedia, produced from 1937 to 1943. Many of these guns were captured by Germany and used as "beutekanone" with the designation 4,5 cm Pak 181/1(r). This type of gun were also used by the First Polish Army taking part in the battles to liberated the Pomerania region in 1945.
