Supermarine Spitfire LF Mk. IXe "FN-T"
Norwegian Aviation Museum (Norsk Luftfartsmuseum) in Bodø on May 26, 2019. Supermarine Spitfire LF Mk. IXe MH350 (CBAF.IX490). Painted as Royal Air Force No. 331 (Norwegian) Squadron "FN-T". This aircraft was according to the museum first delivered to No. 485 (NZ) Squadron in August 1943 with the code "OU". It was transferred to No. 332 (N) Squadron in the spring of 1945 with the code "AH-V". On May 22, 1945, this aircraft was one of 36 Spitfire`s, which was flown home to Norway. Royal Norwegian Air Force No. 331 Squadron took over the plane in 1949, now with the code "FN-M". Last flight in military service was on November 15, 1951. It was finally refurbished in the 1960s and repainted with the false code "FN-T".
